Porthos
The ZÜBLIN Nederland – Van Boekel Infra joint venture has been awarded the contract for the civil engineering works for the compressor station at Porthos, one of Europe’s leading climate projects.
Hornbach
HORNBACH is a modern and forward-looking DIY store, designed for efficient use and an optimal customer experience. ZÜBLIN Nederland has built a comprehensive complex comprising a DIY store, garden centre, drive-through and car park facilities. The project supports HORNBACH’s continued growth in the Netherlands and combines functionality with a robust architectural design.
Biomass heating plant
The Purmerend biomass heating plant is a key project in making the regional heat supply more sustainable. ZÜBLIN Nederland carried out the structural and civil engineering works for a plant that supplies thousands of households with largely sustainable heat. The project stands out for its international collaboration and an innovative BIM engineering approach.
Auxiliary heating plant
The Purmerend Auxiliary Heating Plant reinforces the district heating network along the A7 motorway and ensures a reliable heat supply for the town. ZÜBLIN Nederland carried out this project in collaboration with NEM / Standard Fasel using a Design & Construct approach. The plant forms a vital link in Purmerend’s sustainable energy infrastructure.
E.ON Power Station
The Maasvlakte Power Plant 3 in Rotterdam is a large-scale and technically complex energy project that Ed. Züblin AG carried out for E.ON Benelux between 2008 and 2012.
EBS storage warehouse
ZÜBLIN constructed a large-scale, high-quality storage warehouse for European Bulk Services (today HES Bulk Terminal Maasdelta B.V. ) in Rotterdam’s Europoort, designed entirely with flexibility, safety and logistical efficiency in mind.
Royal Leerdam Gorinchem
Royal Leerdam Gorinchem is a large-scale distribution hub being developed in phases for one of the oldest glassworks in the Netherlands. The centre forms a crucial link in Royal Leerdam’s international logistics network and supports global supply operations from Gorinchem. Its strategic location on the A15 motorway reinforces the project’s role as an efficient and future-oriented logistics hub.
DC Philips Lighting
STRABAG Bouw en Ontwikkeling BV developed a modern and efficient distribution centre for Philips Lighting BV (today Signify) at the Flight Forum Business Park in Eindhoven, combining bespoke design, speed and high-quality spatial design.
Windbreaks on the Caland Canal
A robust concrete barrier is being erected along the Caland Canal to withstand the elements. The new windbreak forms an indispensable link within the Theemsweg route and protects both shipping and infrastructure. With its imposing scale and sustainable design, it is a powerful example of civil engineering in a concrete structure within an industrial setting.
Kramer Quay Wall
The modernisation of City Terminal Kramer has provided the Prince Willem-Alexander Harbour with a robust and future-proof inland waterway quay that is ready for intensive logistics operations.
