A modern and forward-looking DIY store site for HORNBACH, designed entirely with convenience, sustainability and future growth in mind.
ZÜBLIN Nederland was responsible for the construction of a new DIY store, garden centre, drive-through and car park for Hornbach. Hornbach is a DIY chain with various branches in the Netherlands and Europe. This branch is the 10th in the Netherlands.
The foundations consist of in-situ cast beams and footings on an improved subgrade. The ground floor is a non-piled slab and is partially insulated.
The DIY and garden centres were constructed using a steel structure and a combination of precast concrete columns and precast concrete beams with a floor slab.
