Port and terminal infrastructure
All projects in ports and maritime environments fall explicitly within our industrial infrastructure activities. ZÜBLIN Nederland is responsible for delivering the structural core of port projects. This includes quay and port infrastructure, locks, weirs and coastal protection works, all carried out to the highest quality standards. Porthos
The ZÜBLIN Nederland – Van Boekel Infra joint venture has been awarded the contract for the civil engineering works for the compressor station at Porthos, one of Europe’s leading climate projects.
High-Speed Railscan
High Speed Railscan Rotterdam is a state-of-the-art train scanning facility for Dutch customs at the Maasvlakte. The project enables rapid and efficient container screening using X-ray technology on trains travelling at full speed. ZÜBLIN Nederland delivered the facility on a turnkey basis, making the project renowned as the world’s fastest train scanning facility.
Windbreaks on the Caland Canal
A robust concrete barrier is being erected along the Caland Canal to withstand the elements. The new windbreak forms an indispensable link within the Theemsweg route and protects both shipping and infrastructure. With its imposing scale and sustainable design, it is a powerful example of civil engineering in a concrete structure within an industrial setting.
Kramer Quay Wall
The modernisation of City Terminal Kramer has provided the Prince Willem-Alexander Harbour with a robust and future-proof inland waterway quay that is ready for intensive logistics operations.
