Tobias Warter began his career at STRABAG in 2007 at the head office in Vienna, in the Construction and Engineering department for South-East Europe. He felt drawn to working abroad from a very early stage. He was able to make a significant contribution to the timely and budget-compliant completion of the new airport and the Olympic Village in Sochi, ensuring that athletes and their support staff were able to move into their accommodation on time in 2014.
After holding various positions in road construction on the A15 in the Netherlands, at ‘STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions GmbH’ in Vienna, where he rose to become Administrative and Financial Director, and in tunnel construction in Canada, he returned to the Netherlands in early 2025.
With his international experience across various sectors, he is thoroughly familiar with the broad spectrum of our construction and technology group. He attaches great importance to communicating our corporate values and adapting systems and processes to local conditions. In doing so, he aims to create structures, train staff and successfully carry out projects together.
