Amsterdam North-South Line
Right beneath the historic heart of Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most complex metro projects was completed. Using precision techniques such as tunnel boring, ground freezing and compensation grouting, construction took place just centimetres away from existing buildings. The North–South Line is therefore not only a transport route, but also a testament to exceptional underground craftsmanship.
Randstadrail Rotterdam Staten Tunnel
Deep beneath Rotterdam city centre, work was underway on a crucial link in the Randstad metro network. With complex underground engineering techniques, construction under high water pressure and minimal space above ground level, the Statentunnel demanded the utmost precision. The result is a robust metro tunnel where engineering and urban dynamism converge.
