Frank De Roo is retiring
A career spanning almost four decades
After nearly 40 years of professional service at STRABAG and ZÜBLIN, Frank De Roo has retired. Frank was a member of the management team at ZÜBLIN Nederland and held key positions within the Benelux organisation for several decades.
From structural engineer to director of major projects
Frank began his career in 1986 as a structural engineer and went on to become an experienced manager within the company. Throughout his career, he held various positions, including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Technical Director in Belgium and the Netherlands, Technical Director for the Benelux region and, ultimately, Director of Major Projects at ZÜBLIN Nederland. In this role, he was responsible for managing large-scale and technically complex projects.
Throughout his career, he played a key role in several leading projects, including:
- BASF Steamcracker, Antwerp – at the time the largest structural works project in Europe
- De Rotterdam, Rotterdam – a high-rise complex project involving intensive international collaboration
- ODE / Booking.com Campus, Amsterdam – a large-scale inner-city project with high technical and organisational requirements
Contribution to the organisation and market position
In addition to his project responsibilities, Frank contributed to the further development of ZÜBLIN Nederland and the organisation’s positioning within the market. His approach focused on the quality of the work, consistent decision-making and collaboration with clients, partners and internal teams.
With Frank De Roo’s retirement, ZÜBLIN Nederland bids farewell to an experienced director and a key figure within the organisation. We thank Frank for his long-standing contribution and wish him a well-deserved retirement.
